The Rocket game by DraftKings is now live in Pennsylvania!

The DraftKings Rocket platform has expanded from its first launch in New Jersey last year to cover all five US states that allow legal iGaming and even the Canadian province of Ontario. 

In this online game, players compete against each other in real time, betting on when they think the rocket will climb and when they think it will fall. When the rocket lands safely, participants cash out their winnings.

In addition to its well-known online and retail sportsbook, the sports betting organisation also offers a variety of iGaming casino games to customers in the US. In the meanwhile, it has just established a partnership with the Golden Nugget Lake Charles, a casino and hotel in Louisiana, to offer the state's largest retail sportsbook.

The DraftKings Sportsbook Bar & Grill, a new restaurant at the Golden Nugget, and the 3,200 square feet of live sports betting screens, 16 video poker machines, three blackjack tables, 300 lounge seats with VIP areas and 30 self-service kiosks spread over 12,000 square feet are all part of the new agreement.

Although DraftKings Rocket was released last year, it is representative of two broader trends in the industry. Firstly, more and more business-to-consumer companies are using proprietary technology to develop their own games. Secondly, sports bettors are being encouraged to cross-sell to online casino games, where the potential for revenue is much higher. This means that fewer players are needed to generate higher profits.
